Megasquirt is a reprogrammable DIY ECU (Engine Control Unit) which is  a great tool if you want to learn about engine control systems, you can buy in Kit form and assemble yourself, all instructions are available in the online Manuals (Manuals) as you are aware if you modify your Engine by fitting high compression pistons, wild cams, multiple throttle bodies, larger injectors, higher fuel pressure, Turbocharge, Supercharge, or just a nice cold ram air induction kit you will want to be able to remap and with most std ECU's this is usually not possible or easy, you can get some piggy back systems that will help but they are not ideal, so this is where Megasquirt comes in as it is a  DIY standalone system that you can modify and tune your fuel and ignition maps as much as you like as you drive with your Laptop connected, and there is loads of help on the MS Forums so you are never left alone if you have a  problem as they are always eager to help, and of course I am only an email: sales@megasquirtuk.co.uk or: Tel 01206 251475 away, but please remember to do your homework as well by reading the online Manuals link above, all ORDERS must be confirmed in WRITING and or EMAIL so all configure details are confirmed before I build your Megasquirt as we do not want to be redooing MODS etc if they are incorrect and that way we both have a record of what was ordered, Thanks.
